A flower falls, even though we love it;
And a weed grows even though we do not love it. – Dogen
In this case both may apply. I love the flower and the flower is the weed. Now I love all. We are enlightened by the weed and it is the flower.

I look out and see you my friend
Humanity, on you rests countless burdens.
Does anyone hear your cries?
If I could, I would.
My heart and mind are upon you in compassion.
I live for love.
Humanity, you are deeply loved and understood.
May you find rest and peace. May you be free from suffering. You are not forgotten.
No one is useless in this world
who lightens the burdens of another.
(Charles Dickens 1812-1870)

So many commercials for me to buy their stuff
I have bought some things from them before, but they want me to buy more
They’ve never given me money for any work or product I’ve offered them
They only want more
Show me the things I can’t afford
They wish I could
I am their consumer
But what have I been able to sell to them?
Is this the only way things work?
People buying stuff to keep the economy alive
We will always need to buy more
We cannot rest or things may fall apart
“Maybe we should start a war?”
Most the work for our masters is done
They need us no more
Except for one thing
They want us to buy more
Why?
They will always want more
